IT'S POTTY TIME!!
This weekend we are taking on the challenge of potty training. I am hoping that it will go smoothly as N has shown interest in the past several weeks. We are headed to Target in a few minutes to pick out some big girl panties and a bag of treats. She really wants panties with rockets on them (she is a big fan of Little Einstein's), but as you can imagine that has been a bit hard to find. Just a tip - don't google "rocket panties." You will NOT find cute kids underwear...
I will update next week as to how the training went. Here is a picture of N showing her doll Abby how to use the potty. I added a picture of J just be

It was so much fun reading your blog. I saw your first post and have thought about replying every day since! - I've been busy preparing for and teaching a week long tech conference. (Whew, I'm so glad that's over now!) - I'm sure you will be saying the same thing AFTER the potty training is over. Hope that goes well. I'm sure N will respond well to the "rocket panties" and all of the treats. Hey, potty training couldn't be "rocket" science could it? (Just kidding - Our time is coming, I know.) BTW, have you seen any of the "Dirtiest Jobs" shows?

We're getting ready to take Jay on his first airplane ride. Friday we're heading to the Outer Banks to visit family and enjoy the beach. We're just hoping that the other passengers on the flight will be able to enjoy themselves. Jay has this "screaming" thing going for him right now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. - We were told that he should be eating during takeoff and landing... at least that will keep him quiet for a few min.

Is the "rocket" still on the launch pad or did it take off? Houston, do we have a potty training problem?
Our trip to the beach didn't work out. - We took Jay to the doc. the day before lift off and found that he had a double ear infection...
